The Holyrood Park dominates the skyline of the eastern side of Edinburgh and is a natural wildscape beauty.. Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags are the natural rock formation features to the park and offer quite a decent climb.. at 823 feet above sea level it's not quite a mountain but the view from the summit offers a spectacular view of the city.. according to research people have been coming to this area for 9000 years.. on the trip from the airport to the Airdenair B&B Bobby asked his friendly cab driver Karen about how long it would take to climb to the top.. she replied about 45 minutes.. and turns out she was right.. it was an exhilarating climb with the wind blowing at hurricane strength due to an oncoming cold front and was worth every step of the way.
