For the Sadler brothers the distilleries touring was their main attraction to Scotland.. they know there's much more to experience in Scotland than just whisky distillation plants.. but there's something very magickal about being in the precise location of where the finest single malt spirits in the world are being created.. it's a timely and caring process that combines unique and lengthy maturation periods with incredibly simple ingredients.. and there's nothing better than sampling a dram or 2 of those fine products at the end of a demanding and arduous tour.

The Aberlour was the 1st distillery tour the brothers took.. it was very interesting and was followed by an extensive tasting session.. limited picture taking allowed.. the little chattering brook is where they got their name. |

It was too late to take a tour of The Macallan but the folks in the visitors center were kind enough to supply a dram while the brothers viewed
a video.. a very good whisky indeed. |

The Glen Moray was right in Elgin and proved to be one of the best tours.. it was the only time the brothers got to see the casks sitting in a warehouse maturing while the angels took their share. |

The Edradour was a very special tour.. it's located in the quaint little town of Pitlochry.. the tour guide was a classic Scotsman and was well versed in the process of fine whisky making.. their equipment is very original and hands-on.. and their claim to fame is being the smallest distillery in Scotland.. this is truly a fine single malt whisky. |
